Cookie Policy

Cookies are small files a website saves in your browser. This page lists every cookie and every piece of browser storage that LaptopClinic.sg uses, what each one does, and how you can turn them off. We checked this list against the live website on 9 October 2026.

In short: we use cookies to run the shop (your cart, your sign-in, your delivery country) and Google Analytics to count visits. We do not use advertising or social media cookies, and there is no Meta (Facebook), TikTok or Google Ads tracking on this website.

Cookies and storage the shop needs to work

These have to be there for the shop to work, so they cannot be switched off. They do not track you on other websites.

• __Host-next-auth.csrf-token (cookie, deleted when you close your browser): a security code that protects Sign in with Google from forged requests.
• __Secure-next-auth.callback-url (cookie, deleted when you close your browser): remembers which page to bring you back to after you sign in.
• __Secure-next-auth.session-token (cookie, only if you sign in, lasts up to 30 days): keeps you signed in to your account.
• kinetic-cart-storage (browser storage, stays until you clear it): remembers what is in your cart.
• laptopclinic-ship-to (browser storage, stays until you clear it): remembers the country you chose for delivery, so we can show the right delivery price.
• nextauth.message (browser storage, stays until you clear it): keeps your sign-in the same across open tabs.

Our staff get one more sign-in cookie when they use our admin pages. Customers never get it.

Google Analytics

Google Analytics tells us how many people visit, which pages they look at, and how they use the shop, so we can keep it working well. It is set up with Google's advertising features switched off, and Google deletes the detailed visit data after 2 months. It uses two cookies:

• _ga and _ga_YYPTHJTH64 (cookies, up to 2 years; some browsers keep them for less): random numbers that let Google Analytics tell one visitor's visits apart from another's. They do not contain your name or contact details.

Under Singapore's PDPA we rely on the "legitimate interests" exception for this (see our Privacy Policy). If you visit from the European Union, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, Google Analytics is set not to store these cookies at all: it only counts page views, without an identifier.

Google Analytics runs only on laptopclinic.sg itself, never on our staff's preview pages.

Google reCAPTCHA

When you click or tap into our contact form or our newsletter box, Google reCAPTCHA loads to check that you are a person and not a robot. It sends information about your browser and how you use the page to Google. Google may set its own cookies on google.com for this; it sets none on laptopclinic.sg. This site is protected by reCAPTCHA, and the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service apply.

Paying with HitPay

When you pay, you move to HitPay's secure payment page. HitPay may use its own cookies there, under its own privacy policy. They are not set by laptopclinic.sg.

How to switch cookies off

• Your browser's settings let you see, block or delete cookies and stored data, for this website or for all websites.
• To stop Google Analytics on every website you visit, you can install Google's Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

If you block the cookies and storage the shop needs, your cart, your delivery country and signing in will not work properly.

Changes to this policy

If we add or remove a cookie, we update this page first. The date at the top shows when it last changed.

Our customer care hours are Monday to Friday 10am to 7pm and Saturday 10am to 3pm (Singapore time). We are closed on Sundays and public holidays.

LaptopClinic.sg is run by Esmond Solutions Pte. Ltd. (UEN 202031216G), a company registered in Singapore. We are an online store with no public walk-in counter.
